Well at least both still have their day jobs as U.S Senator and governor respectively. And for all you negros that think Obama will make your life easier, he won’t. Just like any other American, you will still have to work for your money, or hustle in the streets like you’ve been doing, don’t get no fancy ideas of living high on the government hog.

This includes you ghetto girls, too, who like nothing more than to get more welfare programs. And for you Mexicans, well, you have nothing to worry about.  I just hope that our new President is not assassinated before he’s innuagurated.

McCain, Palin and the RNC: Can They Win in November?

ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA—

Last night, the delegates at the RNC voted to nominate U.S. Senator Joh MCCain (R-Arizona) and  Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska), to be the Presidential and Vice-Presidential nominees for the Republican party. One of the top events ay last nights’ convention meeting, was when Ms. Palin spoke to a crowd of thousands of cheering and enthusiastic Republicans, to made herself known, to the convention attendies and the rest of the country, that she is a woman of action and compared the Democratic predidential canidate, U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois), as a ‘mere political organizer.’

What she was saying is although, she had been a mayor of a small town; she have contributed more to her community than Mr. Obama have — another personal attack on Mr. Obama’s character. Of course, fromer NYC mayor, Rudy Guliani, also spoke at the convention and, basically, said that all Americans should come together and help each other, particularly, those who have been affected by the recent hurricane, Hurricane ‘Gustav,’ which struck the Southern parts of Louisiana and Mississippi earlier this week.

So, with Ms. Palin on board, can the Republican party win in November? The answer is no certain as of yet, but if so, it will be a long road to hoe for the McCain-Palin tiacket and the Republican party. Bascially, this election will be decided on who has more experience and who can present the best plans for America — here and abroad.

WWE’s Shawn Michaels Issues Challange to ‘Y2J’

Yes, on the latest edition of “Monday Night Raw, ‘Raw’ superstar, Mr. Shawn Michaels issued a challenge to fellow ‘Raw’ superstar, Chris Jericho. The challenge, issued by Mr. Michaels, is a result of Mr. Jericho’s actions on the August 18th edition of ‘Raw.’ During the show, Mr. Micheal’s wife was accidentally attacked by Mr. jericho and this left Mr. Michaels with a life and career decision–whether to re-enter the ring and wrestle against Mr. Jericho–or stay inactive to heal from his injuries and to take care of his family.

In the end, Mr. Michaels decided to defend his honor and challenged Mr. Jericho to a WWE unsanctioned match, which the WWE will not be held liable for the actions of the two men during the fight. This is certainly going to be a slobber knocker to remember and that match could, finally, put an end to the Jericho-Michaels rivalry one and for all! In other words, someone is going to be badly hurt and may not be able to wrestle for a while. The 2008 Summer Olympic Games Have Ended!

Well, the Olympic Games have ended and with that, another four years of waiting to see some of these athletes comete again under the friendly banner of peace.  In the end, the United States won a total of 110 medals (36 gold) and China came in second with 100 medals (51 gold.) It is so surprise that China got the most gold medals in these games, for they are talented and did compete to their fullest ability.

As did the American and the other athletes that participated in the games. At least the country of India did, finally, win a gold medal–which came about in a shooting event and the”Redeem Team’ won the gold in basketball.  So many memories that these two weeks have brought and will last for a very long time. So, to see the spectacular athletes perform their greatest skills at the highest level and to see the pageantry of the opening and closing ceremonies, we have to wait until 2012 when the Games will be held in London, England.

Will WWE’s Shawn Michaels See Action on “Raw?”

The answer is…maybe. It is possible that we will see Shawn Michaels during the next edition of ‘Monday Night Raw,’ but he may not see action. During Mr. Michael’s last appearance on ‘Monday Night Raw,’ he was confronted by Chris Jericho, who accidentally attacked Mr. Michael’s wife, instead of Mr. Michaels, leaving her dazed and confused.

As a result of this, Mr. Michaels may want revenge against Mr. Jericho and might well get it, on the next edition of ‘Monday Night Raw.’ In either case, we have not seen the last of ‘HBK’ Shawn Michaels nor the intense rivalry between him and Mr. Jericho. WWE’s Edge A No-Show For ‘Smackdown!’

Well, it was not really expected that the WWE’s ‘Edge’ would return to last Friday’s edition of ‘Smackdown,’  after being beat down by ‘The Undertaker’ last Sunday at the WWE PPV event, ‘Summerslam.’ We amay have not seen ‘Edge,’ but we did see ‘The Deadman’, ‘The Undertaker’ in the ring last night. The Undertaker made and appearance in the ring, at the request of “Smackdown’ General Manager, Vickie Guererro, who in the ring and accompanied by ‘Smackdown superstars, Chavo Guerrero, Bam Neely and WWE Tag Tam champions, Curt Hwkins and Zach Ryder.

Ms. Guerrero wanted to make amends for her actions against ‘The Undertaker’–who did not appreciate the gesture, as he jerked the microphone from Ms, Guerrero’s hands and declared, “Look into my eyes, woman’– ‘I do not want your apologies’–’I want your soul!” And after the said that, ‘The Family’ (Chavo, Neely, Hawkins and Ryder) attacked “The Undertaker’, leaving him bruised and battered in the ring.

Obama Picks Running Mate!

U.S. Senator and presidential candidate, Barack Obama, to choose his VP running mate for his presidential campaign–and his choice was none other than fellow U.S. Senator Joe Biden of Delaware. Mr. Biden, a 35-year vet of the Hill and a formidable Washington insider, which will be a great asset to Mr. Obama’s campaign. As some may know, Mr. Biden’s tough stance on foreign policy and experience in high-level offices, will counteract with Mr. Obama’s lack of both.

Of course, Mr. Obama could have picked party outsiders, such as U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska or former Arkansas governor, Rep. Mike Huckabee, but he chose to stay within his paty’s ranks and picked Mr. Biden.

Most people had thought that fellow U.S. Senator, Hillary Clinton, would be the obvious choice to be Mr. Obama’s VP, since she was able to draw so many delegates during the past presidential primaries, but this was not the case. In fact, she was far from Mr. Obama’s short list of VP candidates. So much for seeing a female VP in the WH, for the first time in American history. Simply put; Mr Obama will roll into Denver for the Democratic National Convention, beginning Tuesday, with a VP running mate.

Well, as Mr. Obama’s campaign keep running on full steam–so is Mr. John McCain’s. Mr. McCain’s campaign train is moving faster than expected, but not moving fast enough to keep up with the juggernaut, that is Barack Obama.

Mr. McCain has yet to pick a VP running mate and, probably, not pick one until the Republican convention, which will be held in Minneapolis, MN, from Sept 1st to Sept. 4th (too darn long and boring for most people.)

Will WWE’s Edge Return To ‘Friday Night Smackdown?’

It is possible that WWE’s ‘Edge’ will make his return to the latest edition of “Friday Night Smackdown?.’ Last week, Edge got the beating of his life, when he faced ‘The Undertaker,’ in a grueling Hell in a Cell match, in which ‘The Undertaker’ won. The symbolic death of Edge may prevent him from returning to the WWE for a while, but that’s all in the storyline and we will have to wait to see the ‘Rated R Superstar’ to make his return.
